Pioneer Days

Annual celebration held the first Saturday in October in downtown Whitney.
Parade, arts & crafts, live entertainment, horse apple bingo, baby contest, food booths and more.

25 miles of sales along FM4, spanning Cleburne, Grandview and Maypearl.
Third weekend in April and third weekend in September.

Lake Whitney Arts

Organization founded to promote the arts.  Sponsors plays, photo contests, art classes, and children's summer camps.

Located in downtown Whitney, with exhibits chronicling the history of the town and surrounding area.

Clifton

Clifton, a Main Street City, is located 30 minutes southwest of Whitney.  It is known for its festivals, performing arts events, and visual arts, many of which are sponsored by the Bosque Arts Center
Clifton is also called "The Norwegian capital of Texas", and is the home of an annual Norse Smorgasbord feast open to the public.
